CAN ANYTHING GOOD COME OUT OF BETHLEHEM?
Can anything good come out of Bethlehem? a little city? Such was the question during the time of Jesus.. Similary, such questions come in our day and age.Can anything good come out Kalikiliki church? that little church? Indeed it can.. Kalikiliki ambassordor club is actually the pride of Lusaka East Youth Movement.. It all started with a District Debate programme held at the NRDC hall Mid last year.. The debate programme which was characterised with excitment and expectaions exposed massive talent hiden in ambassordors. At the end of it,kalikiliki scooped the day in the last session against Mtendere main churh.. With unbelief, the district witnessed the crowning of Chifwepa Isabel {currently executive secretary of k/liki youth movement} as best speaker.. It did'nt take long before Region B of central Zambia conference held an event of the same kind at Evelyn Hone Colledge Hall.Interesting enough the mighty debater of K/liki -Isabel came out the best speaker in the region of more than 15 mission districts.Oh..!!! thought you would say Amen to that! Anyway, what are we trying to say,the Bible advices us against looking down on others because of where they come from, what they look like or what we think about them.Christ came from a minor city and a humble background.Jst like Bethlehem,Kalikiliki youth movement has always shown with bright light in both capability and intergrity.. |
